Criticism of the policies of our current president can be dangerous for those who disagree with the policies. It is as if the current occupant of the White House is immune from critical reviews of his ideas, performance, or lack thereof, policies, and executive decisions and executive orders. In many cases Executive Orders are used to bypass the constitutional requirement of Congressional approval for appointments, spending taxpayer money, budget questions, and implementation of new laws. Whereas the Executive Branch has the responsibility, authority, and duty to implement new laws, it does not have the authority to change laws to suit its political agenda.
With Obamacare the president has delayed implementation of numerous sections of the law, given out exemptions to favored political allies, changed the law via executive fiat, Faqwas, I call them, and made other arbitrary changes to the law WITHOUT the approval of Congress or the federal courts. Does the Chief Executive have the constitutional authority to make all these changes?
Where are the court cases challenging these arbitrary changes?
Recently, the Democrat Majority Leader of the United States Senate called the people who have lost their health care because of the implementation of Obamacare "liars." Sen Reid claimed all the horror stories from thousands if not millions of Americans were 'just made up".
"Just made up". Reid and people like him care little for the reality of everyday life Americans must face. Life is much tougher now than it was 6 years ago. Reid and his political party have no sympathy for people who complain about real life issues.
To make matters worse anyone who criticizes Obamacare or any other policy of the past 5 years is called a racist, a bigot, out of touch, narrow-minded, and too simple to understand what is good for them.
And above all, no one is permitted to critique the occupant of the White House because the occupant is indeed Caesar's wife.

2014 Global Warming
Well, here we are in the middle of 2014 global warming season and it is snowing for the umpteenth time since 1 January 2014. I can only imagine what it would be like IF we did not have global warming. Instead of snow measured in inches per storm, perhaps it would be measured in feet per storm. Just think of the possibilities.
As I have stated numerous times in this blog and elsewhere, Global Warming is 98% politics and 2% science, at best. As the old saying goes, "Follow the money" because there is an industry whoring after taxpayer money to "save" us from the evil we do to ourselves (according to the true believers of the Global Warming/Climate Change religion). May God save us from these social/economic freaks; the new generation of controllers, planners, organizers, and High Order Priests. The High Order is made up of the elites of politics, education, unions, socialists millionaires/billionaires, the law, the fellow travelers, and the 21st Century Know Nothings.

Our Ruling Class II
Our Ruling Class is protected by an army of professionals - all carrying various types of weapons (guns). And we taxpayers pay the bill for this protection even though many of the Elites and members of the Ruling Class claim guns do not protect ordinary citizens when they, the citizens, own the guns. Strange indeed. Perhaps the Elites, the Rich and Powerful, the Celebrities, the Hollywood gang, and the Politicians should demonstrate their belief by using unarmed guards as they travel about buying votes, performing music, and acting in silly movies.

... in California. A cop killer and another case of a mentally ill person going on a rampage. This one is a fired cop who is seeking revenge for his problems, whatever they are, and at this point he has killed 3 people on his rampage. He says he is a big Obama and Clinton supporter and is suffering from alleged racial discrimination and wants to make people pay for his problems. Does it sound familar?

...is Obama's use of Unmanned Drones to kill Americans who may or may not be associated with international terrorists. This is a sharp reversal for Obama who was harshly critical of Bush era policies dealing with terrorists. Obama and most Democrats villified Bush for capturing terrorists and holding them without charges. Obama and Democrats condemned Bush for gathering information from captured terrorists using various techniques. Now Obama is killing Americans overseas without due process, without court hearings, without Congressional approval, and is violating the rights of these Americans as outlined and protected by the 4th, 5th, 6th , 8th, and 14th Amendments of our Constitution.

Our Ruling Class
Unlike Europe and many parts of the world, America never had an official aristocracy nor a codified Ruling class. America was founded on the principles of freedom where free people could raise their standard of living, create wealth for themselves and their country, and enjoy the equality that comes with success. The idea was for people to work in their professions for success then participate in politics to serve the Republic, then return to their profession and local communities. That was true in the early years of our Republic and stills remains so. However, in 2013 our society has stratified. Once politicians taste Washington DC and the attention that comes with being a member of the Ruling class, they are reluctant to return to their communities. We now have an unofficial Ruling Class.
Politics in America is dominated by the professional politicians and their associates. We see professional politicians at all levels of government: local, county, state, and national. Our national leaders have little experience at activity other than professional politics. The president and vice president have no experience at anything other than running political campaigns and spending other peoples' money. Yet we expect them to solve grave national problems and to tackle pending international issues without any experience at all.
Other national leaders in Congress fare as poorly. The Democrat Senate Majority leader, Harry Reid and his politcal party, have not passed a federal budget in years. Passing a budget is a Constitutional requirement, yet Reid ignores the requirement in part because he and his cohorts are professional politcians. The Republicans are only marginally better. Members of Congress should be limited to a set number of terms in the House and in the Senate. In my opinion 535 men and women off the streets of America can perform better than the pros and serve the Republic better than the current flock of politicians.

In 2013 America has a new class system.
At the bottom of the ladder we have illegal immigrants who will move up quickly under the Obama propsed "immigration reform". These illegals will get a fast track to citizenship and guarantee the Democrat Party millions of new voters.
On the next rung are the unemployed and underemployed who recieve welfare, food stamps and other types of transfer payments from the governments, (local, state and federal). During Obama's rule this class has grown into a huge segment of the Democrat Party's voting base.
Above the unemployed are the working poor - folks who have jobs and receive no direct government transfer payments.
The middle class works, pays taxes and is the bulk of the taxpayer base- the ones who foot the bills for everyone else. They are teachers, self-employed, the carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, and small business owners.
The upper middle class pays its way. Small business owners, professionals, government employees, some union workers belong to this group.
The elites range above the upper middle class. They are in the legal and medical professions, in the colleges and universities, in the media and celebrity world, and in the financial world with concentrations on the extreme East and West coasts and in the large cities. The elites cooperate and support the ruling class with money, media favors, and have a disproportional influence in public affairs because they control the mainstream media and serve the ruling class as propagandists and messengers. The elites disdain the lower classes and the average American who works with his hands and earns a living and pays taxes and lives in what the elites refer to as "Fly Over Country".

Here we are in 2013 and what has changed?
The mainstream media no longer hides its bias in favor of Left wing politics. The News Director of CBS News recently stated that Obama must declare war upon his opposition. This new war is not against a rising al Queda, or a war on foreign oil imports, or a war against unemployment. No, the war is not against the growing national debt or the inability of the federal government to even consider passing a budget, let alone a balanced budget. No, the new war is against Obama's political opponents.
Those mean and evil Republicans dare oppose the Left's dream of a socialist state in America led by his Highness, Obama, the Supreme Leader.
John Dickerson, the CBS NEws Director, instructed Obama on how to conduct this holy war against the evil oppostion. CBS News was once a respected and honorable news organization. For several years the mainstream news has been a primary propaganda machine for Liberal/Left/Democrat policies. Instead of watching liberal politicans and reporting on their assorted activities, the media joined the Liberals in a concerted effort to advance the Left's agenda.
Many Americans understand how corrupt, biased, and dishonest the mainstream media is today. It will get worse as time goes on unless Americans revolt and reject the dishonesty and the corruption.

2012 Election
Polls show Obama ahead of Romney in early August in the run up to the 2012 election. One thing Obama says is true. It is a watershed election and the choice voters make in November will decide the future of the Nation. It is a clear difference.
With Obama we get more federal government, more federal intrusion into our lives, more federal disruption of the economy, more destruction of our system of federalism, and more failed federal programs.
With Romney we get a rein on the growth and instrusion of the federal goverment into our lives and, hopefully, a brake on the runaway federal spending. Without fiscal restraint and common sense approaches to federalism, the Nation (the federal government) is doomed to fail. Which raises a question.
Is the federal government the same thing as the Nation?

A Point in Time
At what point in time will the American people realize they no longer control their federal government and move to restore the proper control to DC?
With the betrayal of the Constitution and of our federal system by the SCOTUS in the Obamacare ruling, with Roberts leading the way, is there any end to what the federal government can do to the states, to the people, or to the Constitution.
Roberts used the power of Congress to tax as the rationale for his ruling. Yet the Constitution requires, requires, that tax laws MUST originate in the US House. Obamacare does not meet that requirement since it was cobbled together behind closed doors in Dingy Harry Reid's office late at night. On this ground alone Roberts should have ruled the law unconstitutional!
However, it appears Roberts is more concerned about his standing in the DC establisment, what the Leftys and Liberals would say to him at the Georgetown cocktail parties, and how the Washington Post and the NY Times view him.
As the liberal media loves to say, "Roberts grew into his office"

The Death of Federalism
...... killed by a 5-4 vote of the Supreme Court today.
SCOTUS upheld the constitutionality of Obamacare with Chief Justice Roberts siding with the socialists and writing the opinion. Roberts evaded the Commerce clause justification using instead the power of Congress to tax as the reason the law met his approval.
Obama declared numerous times in the past two years that the law would not raise taxes. I guess he was wrong on that point. So now if Congress decides it wants people to buy a certain product and they do not, then Congress has the power to "Tax" them for not buying that product.
Man! Just think of the possibilities here for Congress to raise funds to implement their pet projects and to take care of their friends.

The Super Committee...
Failed.
No surprise there since it was doomed to fail anyway.
Congress passed the proverbial buck to this "super committee" made up of assorted Members of Congress equally divided between the political parties. What made Congress and the president think this committee would reach an agreement on reducing federal spending when the president and Congress cannot pass a simple budget on time? Obama wants an issue to divide the country on economic lines and Congress cannot agree on reducing federal spending or how to best increase revenues without furthing damaging the failing economy.What to do?
The people must wake up. When half of Americans pay no federal income tax and receive transfer payments from the half that pays federal income taxes, then we get stalemate. Just like Greece there are millons of Americans who have been told by liberal Democrats for the past 50 years they can have something for nothing (aka buying votes). What happens when the non-paying half become the 75%? How long will tax paying working Americans tolerate this redistribution scheme?
Greece is coming unless we change our ways as a nation.
Under Obama the federal debt has increased more that 50% in less than 3 years!
How long can we stay afloat with that level of deficit spending?

...is Obama's latest move to win re-election, to move the nation further to the political Left, and to increase the dependent class of people in our Nation. The unwashed troops on the streets of our cities are Obama's base, his shock troops, comprised of the naive, the under educated, the ill-informed, and the professional agitators made up of community organizers and assorted union workers (enforcers or thugs). Most of these folks cannot explain why they are on the streets. There have been many crimes committed by these people: rapes, robberies, muggings, and other serious felonies.
