........ one who says he favors keeping the Death Tax because, he says, the rich must pay their fair share.
So we who oppose the Death Tax based on logic, after all, money- wealth- accumulated over the years by smart investments and other good moves has ALREADY been taxed at many levels. Federal income tax, state income tax, local income tax, and numerous other taxes have been paid on this wealth.
So what does one of the richest men in the world do with his very large fortune? He favors the Death Tax so he exposes his fortune to the state and federal tax laws regulating large fortunes when a rich person dies. Right?
No, not exactly.
What?
He donates his fortune to poor people?
No
He establishes a trust for the less fortunate?
No.
So what does he do with his fortune worth billions?
He keeps a few billion for himself and his family members and gives the residue to one of the wealthest people in the world.
What?
Warren Buffett. Yes, the super savvy investor says one thing yet does something else. If Buffett really believed in the fairness of the Death Tax, he would pay HIS fair share of taxes.

Greed
Greed.
AKA avarice, cupidity.
We hear often of greedy corporations, CEOS, business owners who want to keep most of their hard earned money rather than sharing it with those who do not work.
However, we never hear of greedy governments; local, state and federal who demand an increasing diet of more taxpayer money to satisfy the never ending line of programs designed to buy votes and increase the dependent class.
Why is that?
How come we never hear or read about the greed of government?
The feds spend $3,800,000,000,000 a year and still want more. Is there no end to the avarice of government?
Some people in DC say they cannot cut anything from the federal budget without hurting old people, firemen, policemen. We have heard it before. Any small cut in spending immediately means old people eat dog food and firemen can't put out fires.
Lies from those who refuse to tackle the real problem.

Economics
Economics.
It is what they study at the fancy universities and colleges. Economics.
Like Joe Biden said, "Jobs is a three lettered word."
America needs jobs. Lot of jobs.
Unfortunately, the people elected a president in 2008 who knows nothing about creating jobs, The president is surrounded by people, his staff, his Cabinet, his advisors, etc., who know nothing about creating jobs. Most of Congress knows nothing about creating jobs.
The only thing Obama can do is campaign and raise money from the rich elites, the uninformed, and the gullible.
So what do we do?
2010 was a start. We need to continue to elect people who see the dangers of Big Government. Government cannot and will not solve this probelm. Only the private sector has the knowledge, skill and flexibility to create jobs.
But only if it is unfettered by needless regulations and mindless socialist planning and controlling.

More Debt
More debt?
How much can the federal government borrow without ruining the nation?
I have a difficult time understanding how our elected leaders fail to understand simple financial facts. We as a nation (the feds) cannot sustain the unlimited spending and borrowing that the feds have accumulated over the years. It is astounding to me that we allowed this to happen.
My solutions:
1. Pass term limits on all national offices ( US Senate and US Hosue of Reps) Limit is 12 years which is plenty enough time for politicians to further enrich themselves before returning to regualr life.
2. Eliminate the Congressional retirement system. Replace it with Social Security.
3. Cut federal salaries starting with the President and all his staff, Congress, the Cabinet, and all federal workers. Reduce salaries by 10 percent every time the federal budget is not balanced.
4, Cut federal spending. Do so by eleminating the Dept of Education (we don't need it), the Dept of Commerce, the Dept of Labor, the IRS (see later), EPA, Energy, and more.
5. Repeal Obamacare. And work to remove federal interference in our health care system.
6. Privatize the Postal system, the FAA. Stop subsidies. All of them.
7. Flat tax AFTER the tax code is junked. Don't tell me we need a 5 million page tax system that clearly does not work.
8 The Flat tax would be a national sales tax AFTER repeal of all existing IRS tax codes.

Debt
Most people go through life with some debt. We borrow to buy our homes, our cars, even to educate our children. And most people pay off their debt in due course.
It would be great if the Federal government treated debt the way average Americans treat it. We borrow. We pay it.
Not so the federal governement.
The feds borrow and borrow more to pay off what they borrowed before. Then the feds borrow even more to pay off what they couldn't pay off before. It is a never ending cycle of growing debt.
All because the Congress (and the President, all of them) refuse to tackle the spending problem.
More than 14 TRILLION. And they want to borrow more!
It is time We the People put a stop to the irresponsible spending by the federal government.
How to do so?

Obama's Wars
President Obama recently started his third war. Recall that Obama said Afghanistan was a "good" war ( # 1) in comparison to Iraq which he considered a really bad war because President Bush started that one. Obama's attack on Libya was his third venture in warfare. Things are messy in Libya and likely to become even more messy as no one seems to know what Obama's goal is in Libya. Did Obama get Soros's permission before he went into Libya? So what was his second war? The war on FOXNEWS was Obama's second war. It continues today. Over the weekend the Obama-ites boyotted FOXNEWS. They appeared on all the other Sunday news shows but refused to appear on FOXNEWS. Look for more warfare against the evil FOXNEWS.
